All new employees receive up to 4 days Induction In- house training and yearly refresher training. All Homecare workers also undergo the skills for care, care certificate which is essential with the CQC standards. In addition to this Homecare Workers are required/entitled to a Diploma/NVQ in Health and Social care and can begin working towards this. Britannia Homecare support staff with undertaking short courses in specialist conditions of your interest. Staff have benefitted from undertaking training courses in Common Health.

Homecare Workers are asked upon recruitment to select two preferred areas, our co-ordinators always strive to keep travelling time to a minimum and continuity for our staff. Our staff are also paid per mile.
