Bio

I have proudly worked for Britannia Homecare for over 15 years, progressing through the organisation to my current role as Registered Manager and Nominated Individual, where I lead both the day-to-day operations and overall governance of the service.
I stepped into this position at a pivotal time for the organisation, when the business was at a crossroads. Since then, I have worked to reshape and strengthen the service—creating new opportunities for both our team and the individuals we support, while contributing positively to the wider domiciliary care sector.
Working alongside a dedicated and motivated leadership team, we have successfully achieved Britannia Homecare’s first ‘Good’ rating across all areas with the Care Quality Commission. This milestone reflects our collective commitment to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care.
As Nominated Individual, I hold responsibility for ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory requirements, maintains high standards of governance, and continues to drive quality improvement across all areas of the service.
We are a service that is constantly learning, evolving, and striving to improve. Our focus remains firmly on continuous development, with a clear ambition to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating in the future.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care and a range of specialist training qualifications, including:
• Moving and Handling Train the Trainer
• Medication Train the Trainer
• First Aid Training
• Safeguarding Adults for Managers
• Registered Dementia Friend
I am passionate about developing people, building strong teams, and ensuring that every individual we support receives the highest standard of care.
