What will yourworking week be like?
You will beresponsible for:



- Ordering andmaintaining office equipment
- Sorting anddistributing the incoming post
- Providingcustomers with high quality, effective and efficient customer careover the phone or via email
- Filing,photocopying
- Support plansdevelopment
- Updating paperwork
- Answering queriesfrom incoming calls and emails
- Maintainingaccurate records for clients and staff
- Completing generaladmin tasks as required
- Demonstrating apositive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards otherteam members, recognising the importance and benefits of effectiveteam working


Who will suitthis role?
- 5 A-C GCSEs (as aminimum) including English Language and Maths
- Previousexperience in an office environment would be ideal
- Well-organised,confident and computer literate with good MS Office knowledge
- Strong attentionto detail
- Work wellindependently and as part of a team
- Excellentcommunication skills
- Work well underpressure
- Able to work todeadlines and targets
- Able to buildstrong relationships with staff and clients

Homecare Co-ordinator


Britannia Homecare are looking for a Full time Co-ordinator to join our fastpaced team based in Horley.
Britannia Homecare are one of the leading homecare providers in Surrey. We pride ourselves in our quality andprofessional services.
Job role will include:
- Co-ordinating homecare workers daily and weekly rotas
- Communicating with homecare workers, service users, families and healthprofessionals via phone, e-mail and fax
- Some caring duties will be required
- Knowledge in I.T is paramount in the daily running of our friendly fast pacedoffice
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- On call duties evening and weekend - additional pay given
- Car driver essential
Office hours are Monday to Friday 0830-1700.
One evening a week on call and additional one evening until 7pm.
Weekend on call includes office based hours of Saturday 0830-1700 and Sunday0830-1400 - mobile and laptop used to continue on call at home.

Homecare Worker

Job Purpose

  • To enable service users to remain in their own homes by providing the support and care needed to help them achieve maximum independence.
  • To work "with" service users to achieve outcomes, rather than working "for" them.
  • To encourage service users regain and retain their confidence all the while promoting their self-respect, dignity and well-being.
  • To provide the highest standard of care provision every day of the year, including early mornings, evenings, weekend and bank holidays.

The role of the Homecare Worker is to provide a Service of Care to service users to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible. This Care Service will involve a programme of personal care and household management that is personalised for each service user in the form of a Care Plan. Care duties will therefore include assisting the service user with the following activities and in so doing will at all times observe and respect the service users’ dignity, privacy and independence as far as practical.
